Hayes Shoe Store - Get a selfie with the tallest man who ever lived and his shoes! Visit the Hayes Shoe Store on Route 66 to see a cardboard cutout of Robert Wadlow, whom was from Alton, Missouri. His shoes, a mere 37 AA in size, are on display.

For those who love mother road nostalgia, stay at the iconic Wagon Wheel Motel, the oldest operating motel on Route 66. The iconic neon sign, designed by owner John Mathis around 1947, welcomed travelers to the Wagon Wheel motel as it still does today.

Yes, it's a plane on a pole. Put there by Rolla's S&T students at Mosby Field, Cuba Airport. Great place to stop for a high-flying selfie.

Mohick Waterwheel

The Water Wheel

This perpetual motion water wheel is a labor of love. Designed and built by the late Dennis Meiser and local artist John Bland, the water wheel was added to the MO Hick building in 2002. Since then, MO Hick Owner Ryan Meiser, did a redesign to include a reinforced steel housing, shaft and stone basin. The redesign recycles the water and keeps the wheel in motion!

Frisco Train

The Frisco Train

There’s a train theme at Frisco’s Pub and Grill. The building literally has a train emerging from it. Created by local artist Glen Tutterrow, the oncoming train is a Frisco Line replica, complete with a “cow catcher” seat!

Viva Cuba Garden

Viva Cuba Garden

The Viva Cuba Garden is located at the intersection of Historic US 66 & Franklin St. The garden was established in 1992 as a community green space. The park includes a metal art installation of an 1873 Salem Train Replica made by artist Glen Tutterrow. This garden was made possible by the local beautification group, Viva Cuba.

Located just outside the Ozark Outdoors Resort in Leasburg, this replica of Stonehenge is made entirely out of repurposed canoes. Sit quietly and meditate or bring friends along and gather round the campfire.
